Born on January 16, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Lenore was the beloved daughter of the late Russell George Jauss and Thelma Edith Jeffries. She graduated from Frankford High School in 1971 and went on to build a successful career in sales management within the retail industry. Lenore worked for companies including Walmart and The Olive Garden before later choosing to dedicate herself fully to her family as a stay‑at‑home mother. She took great pride and joy in caring for her daughter, Tiffany, whom she loved dearly.
Lenore had a vibrant personality and a love for life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing, had a keen eye for fashion, and was rarely seen without her jewelry and a favorite fragrance close at hand. Shopping outings and her daily coffee were small joys she cherished. Lenore often shared fond memories of her time living in Hawaii and had a lifelong affection for butterflies. She was especially fond of Shirley Temple and enjoyed watching Reba, The Golden Girls, and programs on the Hallmark Channel.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernst Jabs, in 2024.
Lenore is survived by her loving daughter, Tiffany Goldberg (Mark Goldberg) and a host of extended family and friends.
Lenore will be remembered for her warmth, her sense of style, her love of family, and the many small joys she brought into the lives of those who knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at Lamb Funeral Home, located at 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lenore’s memory to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/donate.
