

Lillian Barnett Townley Jordan died September 13, 2014 at her residence. She was 100 years of age. Lillian was the daughter of the late William and Mary Townley. She was born in the Germantown section of the city of Philadelphia. Mrs. Jordan was a resident of Brigantine Island N.J. since 1944 where she spent her summers.
Lillian loved the Lord, and was a lifetime member of the Somerton United Methodist Church. Her whole life was devoted to her family.
Lillian was the beloved wife of Charles W. Jordan for over 61 years, before his death in 2003. She was the beloved mother of William Jordan of Philadelphia, Carol (the late Tom) Callowhill of Brigantine NJ, Linda (Dr. Joseph) Falcon of Pittsburgh PA and Brigantine NJ, the late Robert Jordan, and the late Barbara Jordan. She was the sister of the late Mary H. Raiguel. She was the loving Grandmother(BaBa) of Tommy Callowhill, Cher(Arthur)Shreiber, Lonnie (Patrick) McCarron, Joseph(Laurie)Falcon, Christopher(Christine), Jordan Falcon, Stephanie(James), Jajackowski, Robert Jordan, Chrystal and Shanna Jordan; great grandmother of Taylor, AJ, Ava, and Chase Schreiber, Patrick, Ethan and Duke McCarron, Tommy and Cole Callowhill, Lillie, Emilia, Maren Falcon, Samantha and Dylan Falcon. She is also survived by, many nieces, nephews also niece, Mary Raber who affectingly called her Aunt Iddie and longtime family friend and caregiver for 21/2 years, Maggie Switek (who the family is very grateful).
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 12 noon on Saturday, September 20th at the Somerton United Methodist Church, --- 13073 Bustleton Avenue (entrance on Trevose Road), Philadelphia, PA 19116. Friends may call from 11 AM until the time of service. Her interment will follow in William Penn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Somerton United Methodist Church.
