Lisa J. Sideras

Lisa Joan Sideras, age 68, passed away on June 14, 2026 at her home in Frankford, Delaware. She was a longtime resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Downingtown, Pennsylvania; and most recently Frankford, Delaware.

Lisa was born in Philadelphia to her parents, Harry and Dolores Ginther. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1975. Lisa continued her education, graduating from York College with an associate’s degree in Retail Management. Lisa went on to establish a career as an Associate Director of Cancer Center Administration, working for The Wistar Institute for over 35 years.

Lisa was a loving working mom, devoted to her husband of 44 years, Ted, and their two sons, Eric and Andrew. She was also very proud of her career at The Wistar Institute. The Institute’s Director had once commented that “Lisa Sideras is an incredible engine that powers all aspects of our cancer center with dedication, enthusiasm, and passion. And, of course, her spunk keeps everyone on their toes, especially me.”

Lisa loved spending time with her family, shopping, playing Mah Jongg, participating in various activities with her “Just a Bunch of Neighbors” Facebook friends, and socializing with her many good friends and neighbors in the Estuary Community.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dolores Ginther.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Ted Sideras; her sons, Eric and Andrew; and her brother, Harry Ginther.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, 19006, with funeral services to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions for Lisa may be made to the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania.
