

“MIKE” Breitenbach, age 62, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 25, 2011. Born in Philadelphia, he was a 40 year resident of Bensalem. Mike was the beloved son of Elizabeth and the late Louis Breitenbach and brother of Nancy Mann (Bob).
Mike was a Retired Chief Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force for which he provided 38 years of service, retiring in 2005. A Vietnam War Veteran, he continued to serve his country in numerous military events until his retirement. He was decorated well recognized and respected by all. A Philadelphia Sports fan, he especially enjoyed the Eagles and Phillies. Mike also enjoyed spending his time with his family.
He was the devoted husband of Lynda, married 43 years. He was the loving father of Michael (the late Dawn) and Kristi (Greg) and “Pop Pop” to Mikee, Jordyn, and Christopher. He will be deeply missed by his brother –in-law Walt “Smokey” Smith (Shelley) his niece Casey, his nephews Anthony and Jimmy and by all who knew him.
All are invited to attend his services on Monday August 1st at the Lamb Funeral Home 101 Byberry Rd Huntingdon Valley, PA. 19006 from 9:30 am followed by the Memorial Service at 11:30am. His Military Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
