Louise Joan Stemplewicz

Louise J. Stemplewicz died on January 16, 2017 at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 88 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong resident of the city. Louise was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Gruda.

Mrs. Stemplewicz was a retired employee of Sears. She enjoyed gardening, plants and antique shopping.

Louise was the beloved wife of George Stemplewicz for 31 years before his death in 1978. She was the devoted mother of John (Carol) Stemplewicz of Springfield VA, Gerard (Louise) Stemplewicz of Doylestown, and William Stemplewicz of Philadelphia, Mary Louise (Ron) Bogas of Willow Grove, Judy (Randy) Moyer Reedsville PA and Barbara (Walter) Webb of Philadelphia. She was the loving grandmother of Greg, Jim, Amy, Aaron, Kim, Michael, Jamie, Ryan, Siena; great grandmother of Anna, Max, Luke, Hayden, Dustin Jr., Vivian. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 7 to 9 PM on Friday January 20, 2017 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 and Saturday January 21, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at St. Albert the Great Church, 212 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley. Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM. Her Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls.
