Marie E. Olsen

at Holy Redeemer Hospice. Marie was born in Binghamton, NY and lived in Bensalem for over 20 years.

Marie was a retired office supervisor at the Purple Heart Veterans

She was a longtime parishioner at St. Katherine of Siena Church in Philadelphia, PA. She was an artist of many sorts, she loved to paint and draw. She was a pianist and had an incredible singing voice. She was a great cook, no one missed a meal, she was loved by everyone she met , everyone called her Mom. Marie was great with children, especially her own, her grandchildren knew her as “Nana, and Silly Grandmom”.

She was the loving mother of Daryl (his wife Christine) and Tammy Brooks. Marie was an angel and a soulmate to Wayne Alward for over 20 years. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Sydney, Brody, Olivia, her sisters Yolanda,and Barbara, Her brothers Richard, and Anthony, her extended family Mera, Kevin, J.J., Mark, Ken and by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her brothers Angelo, and Paul, and by family friend Scott.
