Martha Ann Spano, age 92, of Barto, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, died Friday, June 21st at her residence. Born Sept. 2, 1920 in Philadelphia she was the daughter of John and Anna (nee Balog) Stieff. Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Michael A. Spano, daughter, Carmela Petaccio and son Benjamin Spano and daughter-in-law Patricia Spano. Mrs. Spano is survived by her 7 children and their spouses: Catherine (Edward) Seddon, Michaelina (John) Mroz, Michael (Doris) Spano, Felicia (John) Guinup, Alfonso (Linda) Spano, Pasquale Spano, and Lucia (Keith) Miller, son-in-law Joe Petaccio and daughter-in-law Debra Pankowicz as well as 34 grandchildren, 67 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Grandview Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA 18960. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Wed, June 26th with funeral services at 11:00 AM at Lamb Funeral Home at Forest Hills Cemetery, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA . Interment to immediately follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
