Michael P. Flaquer died on Monday, October 21 2019 at his residence. He was forty-eight years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of Karen Off of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and Miguel A. Flaquer Jr. (Marilynne) of Philadelphia. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Flaquer was a cosmetologist. Michael enjoyed music, movies and the theater. He was an avid reader and loved cats.

Michael was the loving brother of David Flaquer and Nichole Borkowski. He was the uncle of Jordan Flaquer, David Flaquer Jr., Shayla Flaquer, Kylie Flaquer, Dylan Borkowski and Alexis Borkowski. He was the nephew of Pete and Bonnie McCormick, Minnie Hardwin and Merlin Flaquer. Michael was predeceased by his aunts, Belle Villanueva and Yolanda Flaquer.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 28, 20019 from 11 AM to 12 noon at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Michael’s Memorial Service will be at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CATS Bridge to Rescue, 2820 Old Lincoln Hwy #4, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053 or cancer research.

I will always remember Mike as a funny, sweet person. I was friends with him though grade school. I remember one year he and some other friends left old Christmas trees on my lawn. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I haven't seen him in many years but I am heartbroken non the less.
