Michael J Gillespie

Mike was born in Philadelphia on July 4, 1950, to James and Patricia Gillespie. He was a 1969 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School, Philadelphia. His last employment was with Jade Electronics, in Trevose, where he retired as a warehouse manager after 25 years in 2012.

He enjoyed annual vacations with his wife to Lancaster County. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, watching all 15 seasons of Supernatural at least twice a year, and perfecting the perfect pour of a Guinness!

Mike looked forward to the football season every year and was a huge Raiders fan (with the Eagles coming in a close second).

He was preceded in death by his father, James (Jimmy), his mother Patricia (nee Lanigan), and his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Scally.

Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Christina (nee Staszkiw), and his brother Tom (Carole).

A public visitation has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Lamb Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow the visitation.
