Mildred M. Brooks died on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Masonic Village at Warminster. She was 90 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Mary C. Lutz. Mildred had been living in Warrington for the past five years. She had previously been a resident of Brigantine, NJ and Feasterville, PA.
Mildred was a retired secretary for Spencer’s Gifts in Pleasantville, NJ. She was a volunteer at the Humane Society in Brigantine.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church in Warminster. She was a former member of the Feasterville Community Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School.
Mildred was a lover of animals, particularly cats. She enjoyed the beach and walking her dogs on the beach. Mildred was an avid reader.
Mildred was predeceased by her husbands, Bruce Reedman and John Brooks. She was the devoted mother of Jan Millin (Don) of Warrington and Debra A. Paul (David) of Horsham. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey Paul, Jennifer DeChristopher, Megan Cass and the late Krissy Millin and she was the great-grandmother of Emma and Isabelle DeChristopher.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 17 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Her funeral service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday. Mildred’s interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
