Petraq Budo

PETRAQ was born in KOSINE, PERMET, ALBANIA, to parents, DHIONIS and LEFTERI. He graduated from TECHNOLOGICAL HIGH SCHOOL in 1967. PETRAQ continued his education, graduating from UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA with a degree in PETROLEUM ENGINEERING. PETRAQ further continued his education, graduating from UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA with a degree in LAW and the COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA with a degree in ACCOUNTING. PETRAQ BUDO went on to establish a career first as an Engineer where he held many leadership roles, then he went on to practice Civil Law in Albania, and ultimately as a Realtor, working for REMAX INC for over 20 years. In addition, PETRAQ served in the ALBANIAN MILITARY. 

PETRAQ was an avid reader and lifelong history buff, he had a deep curiosity about the world. He found great peace taking long walks in nature, vegetable gardening and above all, truly loved the sea. Beyond his personal passions, he was deeply committed to his Albanian heritage as an active supporter and an esteemed member of the ALBANIAN ASSOCIATION Bijtë e Shqipes Organization.

PETRAQ will be remembered as a man of deep intellect, quiet reflection, and profound pride in his roots. Above all, his life was defined by an unwavering loyalty to his family, his friends, and the community. He lived with purpose, dignity and a generous heart. His fierce devotion to those he loved, and his dedication to his community leave a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire everyone who knew him.

PETRAQ was preceded in death by DHIONIS BUDO(father), LEFTERI BUDO (mother), LEFTA ZHAKA(SISTER), KOCO BUDO (brother), VASILIKA SHEHAJ(SISTER).

PETRAQ is survived by MARGALINA BUDO(spouse), ERMAL BUDO (son) and NEVILA BUDO, ILIR BUDO (son) and PRENILDA MALCI, DARINA BUDO (daughter) and JASON TACH, ANA BUDO(granddaughter), DANIEL BUDO, DAVID BUDO, DRIN BUDO , DION BUDO (grandsons), SPIRO BUDO (brother), VALENTINA KOSTAJANI and MARJANA BUSHI (sisters) and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, on September 26, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on September 27, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. After which, a eulogy will start at 12:00 pm. Following the eulogy, a burial will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, on September 27, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
