Rachel Chait

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Nathan (Nate) Chait, and her son-in-law Barry Brommer. She was the adored mother of Ellen (Michael) Liss and Joy Brommer; grandmother of Matthew, Carla, Hannah, Zachary (Jessica), Justin (Morgan) and Alexandra (Nick); great-grandmother of Nick, Thomas, Lily, Nathan and Ellie, and sister to Leon (Fran) Levy.

Raye enjoyed a wonderful life with Nate and her family; first in Philadelphia, as retirees in Lake Worth, Florida, and their "Act III" back again in Philadelphia, surrounded by all of her family.

Raye was a strong, outgoing and generous woman with a kind heart. She will be greatly missed by her family and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.

A public gathering for family and friends will be held at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00 am to be followed by interment at Montefiore Cemetery, 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA at 12:30 pm.
