Richard was born on February 6, 1948 and was a longtime resident of Philadelphia. He was a Vietnam War veteran. Richard formerly worked as a computer programmer and truck driver before retiring. He enjoyed spending time with his family, computers, and the occasional round of poker.
Beloved husband of Ellen Cael. Devoted father of Nicole Pizzo (Mike). Dear brother of Kathy Cael (Neil), Bill Cael, and the late Patricia Calabro (Matthew) and Tim Cael.
