Richard John Davis

Richard John Davis, age seventy-seven of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William C. and Alice Davis.

Richard was a Building Maintenance Superintendent for Federation Housing. He was loved and respected by all who he worked with and the residents.

Richard’s favorite pastime was going to his favorite place, Long Beach Island, NJ with his wife. There he enjoyed watching the fishing boats come in with his adoring wife Sherry. He also enjoyed doing puzzles to pass the time.

Richard was the beloved husband of Sherry Davis for forty years. He was the devoted father of Bernadette, Sandy, Merrily, Jenny, Richie, Marc, Mikey and the late Dee Dee. Richard was adored by his many grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sons in-law, Michael Waks, Bill Krainsky, Craig Landolf, Steve Haas: daughter in-law Angela Davis and his brother in-law Michael Addeo. Donald Goodwin; sisters in-law Sandra Goodwin and Merrily Stilwell. He was the brother of Ronnie Addeo, the late Maryanne(Sissy) Carey and the late Al Davis.
