Tinh Nguyen

Tinh was born in Quang Ninh, Vietnam, to parents, Nguyen Van Tong and Hoang Thi Moun. She was a woman of remarkable courage, resilience, and unwavering determination. As a single mother of three children, she left Vietnam in pursuit of a better life and greater opportunities for her family. Through sacrifice, perseverance, and unconditional love, she built a new life in the United States. She was grateful to welcome another child after settling in the United States, completing her family of four children, who in turn blessed her with ten beloved grandchildren.

Her strength and devotion laid the foundation for generations to come.

Guided by Buddhist values of compassion, humility, and gratitude, Tinh lived a life centered on family. She found great joy in gardening, especially growing Vietnamese vegetables and herbs such as bitter melon. She cherished her Vietnamese heritage and took pride in preserving the traditions, values, and culture that shaped her life.

Above all, Tinh was a devoted mother and grandmother. She found her greatest happiness in caring for her family and took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow. Her quiet strength, generosity, and unconditional love will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and enduring love that will continue to inspire future generations.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Though Tinh’s physical presence will be deeply missed, her memory and the values she instilled will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Tinh is lovingly remembered and survived by her three children, Julie Vu (Sam Orion), Daniel Vu (Trang Nghe), and Sun Nguyen, Dung Le (daughter-in-law),10 grandchildren, her extended family, and dear friends.

Tinh was preceded in death by her parents Nguyen Van Tong and Hoang Thi Moun, first husband, Vu Quang Que, and her eldest son Kelvin Vu.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation which will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Be sure to use the funeral home entrance at the top of the hill on Byberry road - not to be confused with the cemetery entrance at the bottom of the hill. Followed by the funeral service at 12:00PM. Burial to take place on the same grounds as the funeral home at Forest Hills Cemetery at 2:00PM.
