William Liden Adams MD

William Liden Adams, M.D., died on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his residence. Born in Bentleyville, PA, he was the son of the late Reverend Edward Liden and Mary Catherine Schaffner Adams. William had been a resident of Southampton for the past 42 years and previously had lived in Jenkintown.

Dr. Adams was a physician at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook for 48 years. He was a graduate of Millersburg (PA) High School (Class of 1956), Elizabethtown (PA) College and Temple Medical School.

William was a member of and studied with the Builders of the Adytum. He was an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the trumpet.

William was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Devine Adams for 40 years. He was the devoted father of Amy Adams Miller (Jason) of Warrington, PA, Case Adams of Southampton, PA, and the late Michael Adams. He was the loving grandfather of Michael and Emma Miller. He also is survived by his brother, Eugene Adams of Herndon, VA, and his sisters, Marti Greer of Vienna, VA, and Mary Lou Adams of Vienna, WV.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday March 21st from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
