My condolences to Meryl,Billy,RJ,Dennis,Harry,Pat and the entire Davis family. Bill was a great father,brother and husband always putting his family first. I'm proud to say that I learned so much in the plumbing trade from such a good man. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. God Bless

 I'm shocked to hear of Bills passing. I considered Bill a very good friend and coworker. We had allot of good times together. I will miss him greatly. My heart goes out to the whole Davis family especially Dennis and Harry who I also considered good friends. We all had some good times when we were young.

I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear today of Bill's death and my best wishes go to his family. He often talked to me about his sons and there accomplishments with great  pride.
He worked for me on jobs for many years, I considered him a top quality professional but also include Bill in my list of friends.

Dear Dennis, Harry & the entire Davis family,

We were shocked and saddened to hear about the loss of Bill.  Words cannot even begin to comfort you during this sad time but we hope that you know how much we enjoyed knowing Bill and how much we appreciated all the incredible work he did not only in our home but my parents' home through the years.  His kindness and good humor will never be forgotten.  Please know we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.  We hope that memories of happier times will help you smile when you remember what he meant to all of you.

To the Davis Family, The tributes to Billy were so heartwarming. Growing up together in the neighborhood are full of wonderful memories. The last few days have brought tears to my eyes but a smile on my face as I think back to those wonderful carefree days. Thanks for those awesome memories. God Bless Billy and his family.

My brother was the kind of guy you could talk to, laugh with, and cheer loudly with for the Eagles, Flyers and Phillies.  He always watched his language in mixed company, and loved when people spoke the word "Yes" instead of yeh.  Answered his phone with, "This is Bill Davis," even when he called you.  I will miss him on a daily basis, and try to smile each time I think of him.  Love you Billy.  Suz, Jeff, Josie and Samantha love you very much.

Jim Davis and Davis Family.  I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember Billy being in charge of the Newspaper Distribution out of the garage on Loretta & Englewood back in the late 70's. BBall at Wilson and cold water from the fire house fountain. Condolences to all.

I am sad to hear of Bills passing. He was always a great guy and will be missed. Every time I do any plumbing I think of him. He taught me alot about plumbing.Bill and his family will be in my prayers.

Meryl, Michael and I are deeply sorry for this terrible tragedy.Unfortunately I cannot make the service. I have to go to the doctor with Michael, who is not well.Please know that I love you and will call you soon. Our condolences to the whole Davis family.

Words cannot express the degree of shock and anguish that Dennis, Erin, and myself are experiencing at this time.  Death is not easy to those left behind at any time, but to lose someone so young and in a tragic accident is doubly hard.  To Meryl, Bill, and RJ go our love and support.  We are family and need to lean on each other to accept what has happened and to move on as Billy would have wanted us to.  I do not need to express to the entire Davis family my feelings, they know them well, all I can say is that I love you.

i can't make any sense of this.i keep waiting for my phone to ring.i keep wanting to pick up my phone and call you.this is so hard. we spoke every week at least 2 times and of course never missed a call during the eagles game. for the past 40 years we have been BEST friends but so much more then that.WE WERE BROTHERS.we never faught we never had an argument we were always there for each other no matter what.you had the heart the size of the ocean and you always made sure everybody  needs were taken care before yours.the love you had for your family was a true testimony of who you were.i am hurting so bad doc.i miss my best friend and brother.we would always end our call by saying one of the many sayings such as STANDING THERE!,DAWKINS!!SHUT THE WATER OFF!!but the best one was LOVE YA DOC.
