Sorry to hear of the passing of Ardella. She was a lovely person and I remember her fondly when she taught me Catechism up in the organ loft at St. Catherines! She had a great smile and laugh. May you find comfort in the fond memories that you have of her.

To Ardella's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Ardella will always be remembered for her smile and her fun loving personality. Uncle Slim's children always had such fun together and brought brightness to those they were around. The world lost another of those smiling faces. May she rest in peace with those others who have gone before her. Wishing your family my sincere sympathy.

I have known Ardella all of my life and was the flower girl the day that she married Bernie. She was such a special lady who was always fun to be around. Over the years, I shared fun times with Ardella, Bernie and their family at the house south of Columbia City on St. Rd 9 near St. Catherines's Catholic Church. I also got the opportunity to attend and enjoy some of their family gatherings at their Homestead location near Huntington. Both Ardella and Bernie were such special , loving and fun people to be around.
I pray that God will grant her Eternal rest and that all of her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will be comforted in knowing she is now at rest and with Bernie. And that they will find joy in the memories and stories they are able to share because she shared the stories and memories with them.
May God comfort you in your loss and give you peace.

It is with sadness that I write this condolence, There will never be another Ardella that can compare to the one
you lost. I have a lot of memories of the butchering days and hunting days. We enjoyed some New Year's Eve parties even when the jello that mom made which would not set up and we poured it into glasses to drink it.. It was a big question where Bernie and Ardella disappeared from the reception and only Uncle Roma and Aunt Ann knew they went to our house to change clothes and leave on their honeymoom. May the Lord bless her and Bernie with an eternal rest.
May the Lord keep His arms around all of their family during this time of grief.

To all Ardella's family,
You have my condolences on your loss.
Your mother and grandmother was a wonderful lady! I called her often when she was in the nursing home. We had many laughs reminiscing over the years.
She was so upbeat she lifted my spirits many times. I will miss all those phone conversations. She has gotten her reward now and is at peace with the Lord.
May God be with you all during this difficult time.

My family has enjoyed so many great times with Ardella. So many wonderful trips to their homes, a child's wonderland. Hidden closets full of toys, a big yard where we spent hours playing, the wonderful creek and so many great campfires! I first met Bill on the way home from one of those great end of summer party weekends! Together we traveled to Minnesota, winter and summer. So many great memories at the cabin. We fished, swam, told stories, played cards, dice and games, always made more fun when Bernie and Ardella were there! Thank you for the wonderful memories! All our Love, Bill and Jackie
