Bill M. Clark, 79 of Andrews passed away Friday morning July 10, 2020 at his residence. Bill was the Owner/Operator of Clark’s Auto Salvage in Wabash and Huntington for over 50 years. Bill served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1973, completing two tours in Vietnam, where he received two Purple Hearts and three Bronze Stars. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 7 and VFW Post 2689 both in Huntington. As a teen he rode Bulls in the Rodeo and broke horses, he was a Cowboy at heart. Bill also drove Stock Cars and he loved to work on houses, doing Handy work all around Andrews.

He was born on June 1, 1941 in Covington, IN a son of the late Glen and Ruth Weaver Clark.

He was united in marriage to Linda Holmes on September 13, 1996 in Gatlinburg, TN. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include seven sons: Bill (Debbie) Clark of Roann, Robert (Sue) Clark of Wabash, Scott Scheiber of Huntington, John Clark of Lagro, Chris (Jenny) Shelton of Lagro, Ronnie (Lisa) Clark of Andrews and Pearlie (Jenny) Clark of Huntington; 2 Daughters: Gretchen (Shane) Vogleman and Christy (Rab) Miller both of Andrews. 25 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy Purcell of Attica, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bob Clark.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN. We will be following the CDC’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the services on Thursday.

Interment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Andrews.

Memorial donations can be made out to the Wounded Warriors Project in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

The news of Bill passing has sadden my heart. My prayers goes out to Linda an his family during this time.
Bill was an amazing man.
Rember when my husband Jim went to work with him at the shop those were the days Bill done everything to keep the guys working. From crushing cars an cutting trees.
So glad that Linda came into his life she such an sweet woman.
Remember when we all went down to Indy time trials an races what am time we all had.

Lee enjoyed playing cards with you and listening to your stories from your past. You were a gentle person and we grew to Love you and Linda and became fast friends.
