Bradley “Brad” D. Rupright, age 67, of Cromwell, IN, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at his residence. Born on February 18, 1959, in Huntington, IN, he was the son of Dean B. Sr. and Judith A. (Rice) Garrett.
Brad attended Huntington North High School and graduated with the class of 1978. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country. He later retired from Kautex Textron, where he worked in quality control. Brad enjoyed coin collecting and had a lifelong interest in history. Above all, he was a devoted family man who treasured the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his two daughters, Ashley (Stephen) Smith of Pierceton and Brandi (Nathaniel) Goetz of Huntington; two sisters, Angie (Leroy) Fouts and Annette Madden, both of Cromwell; five grandchildren, Wyatt Goetz, Adaline Smith, Jamall (Livia) Smith, Cameron (Aubrey) Smith, and Jamie (Arielle) Smith; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean B. Sr. and Judith A. (Rice) Garrett; late wife Renea Rupright; daughter, Amanda Rupright; two brothers, Brian Rupright and Deano Garrett; and a sister, Alison Rupright.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., immediately following the visitation, at Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at Horeb Cemetery in Uniondale.
