Carolyn S. Burnworth Snover

Carolyn S. Snover, 76 of Huntington passed away at 6:20 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at her residence. Carolyn was a 1954 graduate of Huntington High School. She worked as an executive secretary at Huntington Memorial Hospital/Parkview Huntington Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a former member of PSI-IOTA sorority and Job’s Daughter’s.

She was born on October 18, 1936 in Coldwater, Michigan; a daughter of Clyde D. and Mildred I. (Berry) Burnworth.

She was united in marriage to Jack Snover on June 18, 1955 at the Congregational Christian Church in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include two sons: Scott (Yolanda) Snover of Fort Wayne; Jeff (Rhonda) Snover of North Manchester; a daughter: Julie (Glen) Lahr of Huntington; a sister: Ann Felton of Huntington; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Mildred Burnworth.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Central Christian Church, 500 MacGahan Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. following visitation at Central Christian Church with Pastor Chris Hayden officiating.

Interment will take place at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at a later date.
