David “Dave” A. Jagger, 73 of Huntington passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Dave was a 1967 graduate of South Whitley High School, was a 1969 graduate of International Business College, and had attended Huntington University. He served in the United States Army in the Screaming Eagles 101st Division in Vietnam from 1970 – 1971, he was awarded the Bronze Star. Dave was a member of the VFW Post 2689 in Huntington. He had worked at United Technologies and DANA in accounting for over 40 years, retiring in 2014. Over the years, Dave enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his grandsons.
Dave was born on December 28, 1948 in Fort Wayne, the son of Marshall E. and Catherine F. (James) Jagger.
He was united in marriage to Ginger Frasure on November 6, 1976 in Huntington. Ginger preceded him in death on May 25, 2017.
Survivors include a son: Scott (Kimberly) Jagger of Huntington, a daughter: Jennifer Jagger of Huntington; his mother: Catherine F. Jagger of Columbia City, three grandsons: Macy, Colton and Cameron Jagger; two sisters: Diane Reed of Spencerville, IN and Debra Jagger Jones of Fort Wayne.
His father: Marshall E. Jagger preceded him in death.
A private family service will be held at a later date at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
