Doris A. Kline, 90 of Huntington, passed away on Sunday morning, October 5, 2025 at the Heritage Pointe of Huntington. Doris was a 1952 graduate of Union Center High School. Doris was a Homemaker and over the years enjoyed farming with her husband Bill and caring for her family. She was an active member of the Union Church, where she was song leader for many years and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society. Doris loved to make cards for the local Jail Ministries and her fellow residents at Heritage Pointe, as well as family and friends. She also sold eggs, noodles and angel food cakes to the families of the neighborhood.
Doris was born on December 8, 1934 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Walter M. and Frieda M. (Divelbiss) Harris.
She was united in marriage to William "Bill" Kline on April 15, 1956 at Union Church. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2019.
Survivors include two sons: Tim (Nancy Jo) Kline of Marion, Steve (Ann) Kline of Avilla; a daughter: Debbie Thompson of Roanoke; a sister Betty (Jack) Green of Van Buren; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother: Harold Harris, a son in law: Dan Thompson, two sisters: Mary Jane Harris and Dorothy Waters.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral Service will also take place on Thursday, October 9, 2025 immediately following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the Union Cemetery, in rural Huntington County.
