Besty and family...I was very surprised to read of your mothers passing. I have many fond memories of her helping with church activities during my childhood and teen years at the church. I also remember the fun I had playing at your house. I know my parents have enjoyed your mother and dad as friends. You are in my heart and thoughts during your time of sorrow.

Heinz and family......I was so saddened to read of the passing of Dottie. My parents, Claude & Sally Garretson of Andrews, entrusted Dottie with the care of my brother, sister and myself when we were kids. Sally passed away in April of this year but I know she would want you to know how much she thought of Dottie, Heinz and the Bostel family. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. What a wonderful 4th grade teacher she was. I can clearly see her in that corner room at Horace Mann school on William street. Sorry to hear she has passed.

Sorry to read of Dottie's passing. I did not know her well, but corresponded with her a few years ago as I was researching our grandmother's families (they were sisters) and our great grandfather who was in the Civil War. She was such a help and connected me with her brother Murph and we were able to share quite a bit of information. I always wanted to thank her personally but did only through correspondence. My brother Bob Jervis knew her better and asked that I convey his sympathies also. May God be with each of you as you feel your loss.

Bill (and extended family),
I'm so sorry for your loss. I just mentioned to Janet in the last few days that your mom was one of the three 'great souls' I've had the honor to know through the years. She will be missed by all.

Dear Bostel Family, We are so sad to hear of Mrs. Bostel's death. We were both students in her 4th grade classroom during the early 70s. We are both teachers who kept in touch with her through the years, crediting her for our desire to become educators. She was a a great example of a christian teacher in the public school system. We will miss sending her cards and letters. Our prayers are with you at this time of her passing. Sincerely, George Perkins and Mary Lou Andrews(Perkins) Tampa, Florida
