

Earl C. “Bus” Cryderman, 97 of Huntington passed away Thursday evening, October 25, 2012 at the Parkview Regional Medical Ctr. in Fort Wayne. Mr. Cryderman was Co-Owner of Millington Truck Body in Huntington where he also served as Shop Foreman for over 30 years retiring in 1977. He was a 1933 graduate of Millington High school in Millington, MI. He was a WWII Navy veteran, a 55 year member of the Huntington Lions Club, a 30 year member of the Isaac Walton League and a former member of the National Rifle Association. He was also a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Earl was born on January 15, 1915 in Millington, MI a son of Earl C. and Addie (Carr) Cryderman. He was united in marriage to Mary E. Groves Van Dine on September 7, 1946 in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include – A son: James (Carol) Cryderman of Huntington; a stepdaughter: Phyllis (Robert) Prewitt of Ripon, CA; a brother: George Cryderman of Michigan and a sister: Viola Taylor of Texas; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a step daughter: Caroline Van Dine, a sister and two brothers.
Visitation will take place on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN.
Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Rapp and Pastor Robert Land officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday.
Interment will take place in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in rural Huntington County.
