Georgia M. Sprague

Georgia M. (McPheron) Sprague, 51 of Huntington passed away at 10:50 am on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Georgia was a member of Banquo Christian Church. She enjoyed attending Lake Clare boat races and attended for over 25 years. She never knew a stranger and touched many hearts during her lifetime.

Georgia was born on June 23, 1964 in Grant County, a daughter of Joseph and Pauline (Jones) McPheron.

She was united in marriage to David Sprague; they were married for over 20 years.

Survivors include a son: David Joseph Sprague, Jr. of Huntington; a daughter: Krystal Miller of Marion; six sisters: Kathie Stinson of Huntington; Brenda (Samuel) Wright of Huntington; Maeda (Joe) Scanlon of Florida; Joan (Ed) Bisch of Huntington; Margaret (Mike) Brown of South Carolina; Judy Bailey of North Carolina; five brothers: Will (Sonja) McPheron of Arizona; Joe McPheron of Missouri; Rocky McPheron of Florida; Shawn (Judy) McPheron and Brian (Tracy) McPheron of Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Deborah Settlemyer.

Services will be held at a later date.
