Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Wardwell, 55 of Huntington passed away late Thursday, evening, December 22, 2022 at his residence. Jeff had worked as the Seafood Manager at Marsh in Marion for over 26 years. He was a 1985 graduate of Marion High school. Jeff enjoyed going to Car shows and liked most anything to do with classic cars. He especially loved his dogs, Thumper and Pooh.
Jeff was born on January 24, 1967 in Marion, the son of Rodney W. and Nancy S. (Abernathy) Wardwell.
Survivors include his parents: Nancy West of Warren and Rodney (Karol) Wardwell of Marion; his partner: Justin Yohe of Huntington; two brothers: Jason (Karen) Wardwell of Fort Wayne and Rodney (Kate) Wardwell of Puyallup, WA; brother-in-law: Josh (Ashley) Yohe of Huntington; mother-in-law: Peggy Pursifull of Huntington and nine nieces and nephews.
His father-in-law, Randy Yohe preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral services will also be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, immediately following the visitation.
Interment will take place in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in rural Huntington County.
