Joyce Ann (White) Whitesell, 66, of North Manchester passed away suddenly on November 22, 2021 at her residence. She was a 1973 graduate of Huntington North High School. Joyce was a lifetime resident of North Manchester. She had worked in food service at Peabody Retirement Community for over 5 years. She was full of life and enjoyed many activities such as reading, shopping, sewing, knitting, cross stitching and playing cards. Joyce loved her family and her pets.
Joyce was born on December 20, 1954 the daughter of Garold and Marjorie Wince.
She was united in marriage to Tommie Lee Whitesell on September 1, 1973 in Andrews. Tommie survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Susan (Chip) McPeak of Warsaw; a son: Chris (Anna) Whitesell of Huntington; her mother: Marjorie Wince of Warren; five sisters: Darlene Fagan of Warren, Linda Barfell of Fort Wayne, Vera Harper of Fort Wayne, Shirley Pack of Fort Wayne, Alice Mitchell of Indianapolis; three grandchildren: Laney, Gavin and Arabella.
She was preceded in death by her father: Garold Wince; a sister: Gloria Burgo and a brother: Billie White.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 following the visitation at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
