OBITUARY
Keith E. Swain
August 29, 1924 – December 3, 2020
Keith E. Swain, 96 of Huntington passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his residence. Keith was a 1942 graduate of Huntington Township High School. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He was a farmer his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and after his retirement he and his wife enjoyed traveling.
He was born on August 29, 1924 in Huntington, the son of the late Bertus and Bertha (Barrick) Swain.
He was united in marriage to Lois Miller. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include three daughters: Kay (Kirk) Caley of Huntington, Debra (David) Switzer of Huntington, Linda (Brian) Schafer of Huntington; a son: Mark Swain of Columbia City; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters.
No public visitation or services.
Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made out to Parkview Hospice in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

I remember Keith's caring back in the 1970ies when Keith came and finished combining our soybeans when our combine was broke. He graciously did this for at least 2 years. He was a great neighbor and fellow dairyman and farmer. Always great to talk to at the co-op in Bippus.
He will be greatly missed. Your family has our sympathy.
