Lakelyn Robyn Lee Scheiman, age 11 days, of Huntington, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Though her time on earth was short, she will always be in our hearts.

Lakelyn was born on February 15, 2025 in Fort Wayne a daughter of Matt and Alisha (Sills) Scheiman. Her parents survive in Huntington

Additional survivors include three siblings: Mya Lewis of Huntington, Bryant Buzzard of Iowa, and Jaxon Scheiman of Huntington; paternal grandparents: Tina (Steve) Sims of Huntington; maternal Great grandparents: Diane (Tom) Sage of Huntington; a paternal great grandmother: Joann Sims of Columbia City; maternal aunts and uncles: Dalton Hayden of Huntington, and Bryanna Crawley of Huntington; paternal aunts and uncles: Heather (Brandon) Knecht of Roanoke, Steve (Diane) Sims of Charlotte N.C., Jessica (Jared) Yoder of Shipshewana, Marissa (Ryan) Mettert of Auburn, Miranda (Duell Murphy) Sims of Huntington, and Erika (Taylor) Petre of Huntington; and several loving cousins.

Lakelyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Robyn Hayden and Jonathon Crawley; and paternal great grandparents: Cheryl Devall, Harold K Devall, and Jim Sims.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery

Memorial Contributions can be made out to Riley's Children's Hospital in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
