Lillian M. Sundermann

Lillian M. Sundermann, 91 of Huntington passed away at 4:08 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Lillian was a 1940 graduate of Huntington High School. She was owner/operator/president and bookkeeper of Lillsun Manufacturing from 1951 until her retirment. Lillian was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Roanoke where she enjoyed playing the organ for several years and played for 14 years for Huntington County Chorus. She taught organ lessons for several years.

Lillian was born on May 23, 1923 in Huntington, the daughter of Leroy and Edna (Merriman) Holley.

She was united in marriage to Herman Sundermann on October 28, 1941 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2001.

Survivors include a son: William (Rita) Sunderman of Huntington; a daughter: Sharon (Michael) Ulrich of Huntington; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Holley and a half-brother: Ronald Spencer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 3416 E. 900 N., Roanoke, Indiana with Pastor Shayne Jonker officiating.

Interment will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
