Linda C. Belding, 86 of Huntington, passed away early Tuesday morning January 28, 2025 at her residence. Linda was a 1957 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School. She had taught Art classes for many years at Huntington North High School and had worked for many years at Carrier / United Technologies until her retirement. Linda was an outstanding Artist, receiving many awards over the years. She enjoyed her garden and the wildlife that lived on her property. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda was born on January 3, 1939 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Bernard "Bun" P. and Mary L. (Bickel) Scheiber.
Survivors include - two daughters: Kelly Kennedy of Huntington and Mary T. Fletcher of Virginia; a son: Bernie P. Belding of Virginia; three brothers: Larry Scheiber of Huntington, Tim Scheiber of Florida and Mick Bickel of Mt. Etna; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: John Belding; a grandson: Mason Belding, a granddaughter: Lindsey Belding and two sisters: Judy Campbell, and Beth McClure.
Private family services will take place at a later date.
