Lori A. Hacker Johnson

Lori A. Johnson, 47 of Huntington passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2012 at her residence. Lori had worked as a Nurse for Millers Merry Manor, Victory Noll, and Community Care all in Huntington and most recently with Dr. Ringenberg at Huntington General Practice. She was a 1983 graduate of Huntington North High school and 1986 graduate of Ivy Tech, where she received her nursing degree. Lori was a member of the Union Church where she was active in the “Sis” group bible study and the “New Life” meal ministry. She was an active participant of the Huntington County Relay for Life and the Francine and Friends early detection of breast cancer organization.

She was born on January 15, 1965 in Huntington, the daughter of Ed and Sue Hacker.

Survivors include – a son: Lucas Johnson of Huntington; two daughters: Lauren Johnson and Larissa Johnson of Huntington; her parents: Ed and Sue Hacker of Huntington; a brother: DeWayne Hacker of Cedar, MN; a sister: Stacie Hacker of Roanoke; Maternal grandmother: Virginia Holmes of Huntington and Paternal grandmother: Clara Hacker of Huntington.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Matt Gapinski officiating. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday.

Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.
