

Madge A. Miller, 86 of Huntington passed away Friday morning, July 6, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Fort Wayne. Madge was a homemaker. She was a 1943 graduate of Huntington High school. She was a member of the St. Peter’s 1st United Church in Huntington and had served as the church librarian for many years. She was a 4H leader for 26 years.
She was born on October 15, 1925 in Huntington a daughter of William J. and Meta (Vitz) Pleanitz.
She was united in marriage to Frank A. Miller on June 16, 1948 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on June 24, 2003.
Survivors include two sons: John A. Miller of Fishkill, NY and Thomas A. (Barbara) Miller of Plattsmouth, NE; three daughters: Sue Mendenhall, Peggy Scher and Sally (Kevin) Kimmel all of Fort Wayne. 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Richard A. Miller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Strick officiating.
Interment will be at the St. Peter’s 1st Church Cemetery in Huntington.
