One of my most standout memories of my momma was when I was a young mother myself. I have to start by saying Mom REALLY enjoyed being a mom to us. We shared a lot of fun times through the years. It wasn't until I became a mother myself at the age of 24 that I realized how truly amazing Mom was. My Mom had 5 children by the age of 22! I can't even imagine, yet she did it and made it look easy. "THE LOOK" we just knew better. When my oldest daughter Kylie was a toddler she was up to mischief and I gave her "THE LOOK" She responded by giving me "THE LOOK" back! I immediately called Mom and asked "What do I do?" Mom busted out laughing and said "I don't know, you kids never tried that!" I am proud to say "THE LOOK" is hereditary, my youngest daughter Jada has Lawson and Lila now, and Lila at age 3 has so many of her Great grandmas expressions! Now it's my turn to laugh! One of the last things Mom said before she passed was "I am so proud of all my kids, all my grandkids, and all my great grandkids and each and everyone of them are special to me." You did good Mom, you will continue to live on in each one of us. Brenda
