It was an honor to be one of Mary Ann's caregivers and get to know her and her family!! I will always remember her when someone says "see you later alligator" she never let me leave her apartment without going through the list. One last time I will say to her "Great big hug, Ladybug". Whenever I walked in her room she would say "Joy Joy Joy" then we would break out in song singing "I got the joy joy joy down in my heart". Mary Ann will always hold a special place in my heart!! I won't be able to make the services, but most definitely will watch the live stream!! To her family, you are in my prayers and I am sending you virtual hugs!!!

Mary Ann was such a precious, loving person and a wonderful Christian woman. She and Elmer were great pillars of faith in the Columbus Avenue Church of the Nazarene where we grew up. They were such an excellent support to my father, Fred MacMillan, who pastored the church and my mother, Jeanette, who directed the youth group. We will forever be grateful for the tremendous Christian example they were to us and the other youth at the church. Heaven is rejoicing as another saint has entered through the pearly gates. There is also a wonderful reunion as Mary Ann and Elmer are once again together and celebrating with my parents. May God give you peace and comfort during this time of loss. Sincerely, Lucille and Jeff Helpling
