Mildred E. Wagner-Williams
January 20, 1922 – April 17, 2019

Mildred E. Wagner-Williams, 97 passed away at 10:20 am on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Parkview Whitley Hospital. Mildred was a 1941 graduate of Decatur High School. She had attended Huntington College and later worked at the college as a mailing and duplicating supervisor for ten years.
Mildred was born on January 20, 1922 in Wells County, the daughter of Amos and Ida (Brunner) Sovine.
She was united in marriage to Charles R. Wagner on November 21, 1941 in Decatur, Indiana. Charles preceded her in death on April 26, 1996. She later married John Williams on July 21, 1999. John preceded her in death on August 29, 2018.
Survivors include three sons: Jerry Wagner of Sarasota, FL; Kenny Wagner of Lake Waynoka, OH; Russell Wagner of Columbia City; eight grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Leona Sovine and a brother: Glenn Donnel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 following visitation at 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Russell Wagner officiating.
Interment will be at the Zion Cemetery in Adams County at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made out to Gideon’s International of Decatur or of Huntington both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
