

Mona M. Colclesser, 65 of Roanoke passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at her home. She was a 1963 graduate of Elmhurst High School. She had worked for an accountant in Fort Wayne in her younger years. She later worked as a substitute secretary for Springfield City Schools in Ohio for 11 years. She was a member of the Seminary United Methodist Church and was an active member of its Women’s Group.
She was born on September 14, 1945 in Allen County, a daughter of Robert L. and Florence (Martin) Diss.
She was united in marriage to Max L. Colclesser on May 1, 1965 in Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her husband: Max L. Colclesser of Roanoke; a son: Mark (Kathy) Colclesser of Roanoke; a sister: Janet (Ron) Ramseyer of Bluffton; two brothers: James (Sarah) Diss of Henderson, NV; Edward (Sandra) Diss of Fort Wayne and three grandchildren: Max, Bryce and Ella Colclesser.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Mary Colclesser.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Jim Tormey officiating.
Interment will be at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
