Nancy Ward

Nancy was born on January 23, 1938 in Huntington, a daughter of Rosse and Florence (Brown) Lancaster.

She was united in marriage to Neil Ward on June 5, 1971 in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include a son: Christian (Laura) Shenefield of Fort Wayne; four daughters: Melanie Dager of Fort Wayne; Loretta (John) Barton of Huntington; Bridgette Shenefield of Wabash; Leslie Ward of Roanoke; a sister: Janie Myers of Huntington; six grandchildren: Kiel Dager, Tyler (Shannon) Dager, Nathan (Amanda) Prouty, Chad Barton, Alexandria Shenefield, Brandon Shenefield and two great grandchildren: Aria Prouty and Jaxson Dager.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Carolyn Crago, two brothers: Roger Jones, Laverne Lancaster and her parents: Rosse and Florence Lancaster.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 12:00pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will take place at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
