Nick E. Weaver, age 73, of Huntington, passed away on Monday evening, February 24, 2025 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne after a short battle with cancer.. Nick had worked as a magician doing magic shows and also worked as an electrician for many years. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, magic, the great outdoors and cruising in his dune buggy.
Nick was born on November 23, 1951 in Huntington, a son of the late Pearlie and Avis (Harrell) Weaver.
He was united in marriage to Karen Proffitt on April 28, 1974 in Huntington. Karen survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Cody (Dana Allen) Weaver of Salem, OR, Kirk Weaver of Fort Wayne; a brother: Rex Weaver of Andrews; a sister: Judy Clark of Huntington; a grandson: Declan Weaver of Fort Wayne as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Joyce Schenkel.
To honor Nick's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
