Norbert was born on November 17, 1934 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late William and Bernadette (Thicke) Sterling.
He was united in marriage to Betty Anne Tanner. She preceded him in death on November 12, 2001
He is survived by his daughter Mary Carney of Texas.
Norbert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
To honor Norbert's wishes, there will be no public services at this time.
