Norma "Elaine" Kline, 90 of Warren and formerly of Huntington passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Heritage Pointe of Warren. Elaine was a 1953 graduate of Monument City High School. She was a 1955 graduate of Warner Beauty College in Fort Wayne. Elaine had taught aerobics at many of the churches in Roanoke. Later in life she really enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips with her family. Elaine was a woman of faith and had attended many United Methodist Churches in her life. She enjoyed playing the piano, crafts, sewing, shopping, shoes, watching the cardinals that visited her yard, and especially baking Christmas cookies with family.
Elaine was born on October 25, 1935 in Andrews, a daughter of the late Ralph V. and Rose O. (Swain) Tyner.
She was united in marriage to Donnie D. Kline on December 24,1953. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter: Brenda (Steve) Bassett of Huntington; a son: Brent (Cathy) Kline of Grapevine Texas; a sister: Alice Felton of Markle; a sister-in-law: Donna Jo Tyner; six grandchildren: Allison Kline, Patrick (Genevieve) Kline, Nicholas Kline, Jeremy Kline, Bethany (Nathan Bonbrake) Bassett, and Stephanie (Jared) Fitzmaurice; and five great grandchildren: Alexis Kline, London Kline, Lula Kline, Viviana Kline and Adelynn Hethcote.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Bryant Kline, a brother: John Tyner; and a great granddaughter: Kaylee Braun.
A visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A funeral service will be held on Monday July 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery.
