Norma L. Tribolet, 89, of Huntington, passed away on Sunday July 26, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Norma was a 1954 graduate of Roanoke High School. She worked as the secretary at St. Peter's First United Church of Christ in Huntington for several years. After retiring Norma volunteered at Love United where she worked as the coordinator of the food pantry. Along with her husband, she spent her life working the family farm. In her free time Norma had many hobbies that she enjoyed including sewing, cross stitch, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, and canning. Most of all Norma loves spending time with her family.
Norma was born on August 4, 1936 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Warren and Violet (Westafer) Colclesser.
She was united in marriage to Rex E. Tribolet on May 29, 1955 in Huntington. Rex preceded her in death on July 17, 2026.
Survivors include two sons: Mike (Polly) Tribolet of Warren, and Scott (Julie) Tribolet of Brandon Mississippi; two daughters: Donna (Rick) Uecker, and Karen (Doug) Tuesch of Huntington; two brothers: Max Colclesser of Roanoke, and Roger (Ellen) Colclesser of Roanoke; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband and a sister-in-law: Mona Coclesser.
A visitation will be held on Friday July 31, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A funeral service will be held on Friday July 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at Shock Cemetery in Huntington.
