

Olive L. Teusch, 98 of Huntington passed away at 2:50 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2013 at her residence. Olive was a 1932 graduate of Huntington High School. She had worked at Pyle Industries for 19 ½ years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Huntington First Brethren Church. She taught Sunday school for 50 years and she had a card ministry for several years. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society. She was a loving grandma to countless many.
She was born on June 8, 1914 in Huntington; a daughter of Alfred and Cora (Taylor) Waikel.
She was united in marriage to Floyd J. Teusch on July 5, 1935 in Anderson, Indiana at the Nazarene Parsonage. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1987.
Survivors include four sons: Floyd G. (Connie) Teusch of Huntington; Dean B. (Dianna) Teusch of Huntington; Dennis P. (Marjorie) Teusch of Huntington; Dallas L. (Cynthia) Teusch of Huntington; twenty-eight grandchildren; eighty-eight great grandchildren and eighty-seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Shirley Bruce; a son: Phillip Teusch; four brothers: James Waikel, John Waikel, Elmer Waikel, Fletcher Waikel; three sisters: Pearl LaVine, Inza Kocher, Edith Eierman; two grandsons: Phillip, Sammy and four great grandchildren: Jamie, Hank, Alfred Jr. and Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Dianna Teusch officiating.
Interment will be at the St. John’s Cemetery in Wells County.
In lieu of flowers the family request’s donations are made out to Huntington First Brethren Church Deacon’s Fund in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
