

P. Thomas Harrell, 92 of Huntington passed away Wednesday morning, August 29, 2012 at the Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He farmed for many years in Huntington and Wabash Counties. He was a member of the Tristate Tractor and Engine Club. He loved to do puzzles and was very active in the lives and activities of his family.
He was born on December 30, 1919 in Elko, Indiana, a son of Charles and Laura (Cozad) Harrell.
He was united in marriage to Opal G. Ziner on February 17, 1940. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2010.
Survivors include four sons: Jack D. Harrell of Roanoke; Daniel D. (Linda) Harrell of Warren; D. Gregory (Donna) Harrell of Huntington; Gary L. (Holly) Harrell of Huntington; two daughters: Diana L. (Terry) Hoffman of Macy, IN; Debra J. (Dennis) Bruch of Huntington; a brother: Lamoine Harrell of Shirley, IN; a sister: Barbara Smith of Huntington; eleven grandchildren: Scott Taylor, Shawn Taylor, Jason Harrell, Justin Harrell, Jacob Harrell, Tiffany Harrell, Nicky Buehler, Bridgette Harrell, Jamie Updike, Matthew Bruch, Sonceria Stegall and seventeen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sons: Carl Harrell; Ralph Harrell; Richard Harrell; a granddaughter: Karrie Jo Harrell; two brothers: Max Harrell; Robert Harrell and a sister: Agnes Hite.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Hopewell Cemetery in Lagro, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made out to the donor’s choice of charity in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
