Pamela S. “Pam” Hite, 73 of Huntington passed away on November 22, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Ohio. Pam had worked for several years at Triad-Utrad/Magnetek in Huntington. Her faith was number one in her life, she loved her Lord and Savior. She was a member of New Hope United Brethren Church where she was a very active member. Pam worked at Pathfinders until her retirement and also volunteered at LOVE, Inc and Parkview Huntington Hospital. She was proud that she finished school and earned her GED later in life. She loved her puppies, Fifi and Sophie. Pam lived as a cancer survivor. She was born on January 4, 1947 in Huntington, the daughter of Darlene (Denis) Nichols and her step father Al Nichols. Her parents preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to James L. Hite on August 2, 1986 in Huntington. Survivors include her husband: James L. “Jim” Hite of Huntington; a son: Roger (Tonya) Hammonds of Russia, OH; a brother: Les Nichols of Huntington; five grandchildren: Jessica Hall of Ossian, Chase Hammonds of Sidney, OH, Conner Hammonds of Sidney, OH, Riley Hammonds of Russia, OH, Shay Hammonds of Russia, OH and one great grandchild: Oaklynn Hammonds of Sidney, OH. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Ronda Hammonds; a sister: Mary Belcastro and a brother: John Moore. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 4:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Amos Rawley officiating. Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers that family asks that memorial donations be made out to New Hope United Brethren Church in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
