Paul D. "Rowdy" Moore, 68 of Huntington, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 26, 2025, at Markle Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Markle. Paul was a 1974 graduate of Xenia High School in Xenia, Ohio. He had worked at Ken-Koat for several years and then worked at Breyer's Ice Cream and later at Walmart for a few years. Paul was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. He enjoyed listening to classic country music, loved vacationing with his family in Tennessee and enjoyed drives out to the reservoir and campground.
Paul was born on March 1, 1956 in Xenia, Ohio, a son of the late Walter and Alice (Rideout) Moore.
He was united in marriage to Tamara Horsley on November 4, 1993, in Ohio. Tammy survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Ethan (Holly) Moore of Columbia City; two daughters: Tiffany (Will) Dubbeld of Huntington, Heather Moore of Huntington; a brother: Walter (Tammy) Moore; two sisters: Arletta (Shawn) Funston, Wanda Baughn; two sisters-in-law: Deanna Moore and Roxanne Moore; and four grandchildren: Kambree, Layla Ann, Vinnie Dean and Imogene.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: James Moore, Warren Moore, Dennis Moore and a brother-in-law: Donald Baughn.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
