Paul D. Whitesell, 82 of Huntington, passed away Friday evening March 14, 2025 at the Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Paul had first worked at Kitchen Maid in Andrews for many years. He then worked at Pyle Industry for over twenty years and most recently he and his wife Edith owned and operated P&E Antiques and Collectables in Huntington for a few years. Paul enjoyed camping and Avon collectibles, he enjoyed woodworking and making things with his hands. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Paul was born on August 18, 1942 in Huntington, a son of the late Asa F. and Mabel Odessa (Hunt) Whitesell.
He was united in marriage to Edith Metzger on August 22, 1965 at the Salem Church in Bippus, she survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Cindy (Gary) Rowe of Huntington; a son: Mark (Karen) Whitesell of Huntington; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers: Walter Whitesell, Bud Whitesell, Moine Whitesell, Albert Whitesell and Rudy Whitesell. Four sisters: Weddy Thorn, Rene Miller, Bert Bowers and Niece French.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service.
Interment will take place at the Gardens of Memory cemetery in rural Huntington County.
