Priscilla was seven minutes older than her twin sister Prudence Kennedy who survives her in Danville, IL. She loved to let everyone know she was the oldest twin. The twins were born on November 1, 1939 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin at St. Mary's Hospital to LeRoy Hartz and Fern Mangerson Hartz. Their parents and siblings Helen I. (Hartz) Luedke III of Madison, WI and John Hartz of Roscoe, IL, preceded them in death.
Priscilla graduated from Westville High School in Westville, Illinois in 1957. Then married Robert McBride and parented three children Tammy McBride Randolph, Cynthia McBride Cox, and Robert McBride. The marriage was later dissolved.
Priscilla then went to work at General Motors where she met and married James Ray Osborn on July 28, 1974. Her beloved husband James preceded her in death on June 9, 2021. The two had one child Jeffrey James Osborn. Jeffrey and his wife Michelle Marie Osborn of Huntington, Indiana served as additional caretakers in her final years.
Over the years Priscilla held a variety of jobs from managing her father's Westville Laundry and Dry Cleaners business to General Motors, Hurletron Inc., Walmart, Juergens Hardware, and seasonal gift wrapper at the mall since she would already be there shopping. No matter what the job she was a perfectionist and always strived to do her best and was successful. She attended many different Baptist churches over the years and was strong in her Christian faith. In her free time, she made wedding cakes and various occasion cakes which she took great pride in doing. She enjoyed going to bed early to read a good book. She loved cooking and baking, interior design, floral arrangements, fashion, painting, walking, talking on the phone, and shopping. She was the person that would walk into a store and everyone knew her.
Priscilla had eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
