Rachel Cowan

Rachel was born on April 27, 1988 in Huntington a daughter of Brodrick and Jill (Sparks) Gilgen.

She was united in marriage to Dan Cowan on October 14, 2007 at the Warren First Baptist Church. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include her mother: Jill (Chuck) Bowling of Huntington; two daughters: Layla Cowan and Larisa Cowan and a son: Liam Cowan all of Huntington; a sister: Sabrina Gilgen of Huntington; two half-sisters: Michelle Bowling and Jessica Burnsworth both of Huntington and a half-brother: Charles Bowling of Germany.

She was preceded in death by her father: Brodrick Gilgen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 12:00pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Amos Albright officiating.

Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
